Want to find a cruelty-free, vegan parka to keep you warm this winter? Finding a vegan winter coat isn’t always the easiest task, which I know well after 14 years of being vegan.
Winter coats are often stuffed with down feathers, lined with fur trim or made of wool — but thankfully there are plenty of vegan alternatives to keep you out of the cold. That’s why I’ve put together this list of the best vegan parkas.

Bedi Slat men’s vegan parka
Bedi is one of the newer vegan coat brands and they make very warm coats. Their down free winter coats are also made with sustainable materials.
Started by the founder of Matt & Nat, Bedi is based in Canada and uses eco-friendly materials like local metals for zips and Econyl (like this parka), made from discarded fish nets and waste from carpet fibers.
This vegan insulated jacket is a 3/4 length parka and is rated down to -30 Celsius/-22 Fahrenheit!
The downside is if you’re in a warmer country, this will be far too hot for your winter and you’re likely to get sweaty. However, these vegan jackets perfect if you live in a cold climate and want to stay toasty warm inside your coat.
It’s also water repellent, is lined with Exkin Air insulation, has fleece lined storm cuffs and a storm hood.

It has fleece-lined storm cuffs plus a storm hood, is water-repellent, and has a tapered below-the-knee fit.
The classic style of these vegan insulated jackets will match everything, though the downside, as I mentioned above, is it’s not suitable for a warmer climate – you’ll likely be too hot in a coat rated to -30 C / -22 F if you live somewhere that doesn’t get that cold.
